Our restaurant was opened in 2004. The name of Akhtamar is a legend about Love. In my small small town where I was born there was a monument of Akhtamar, and nearby there was a cosy house restaurant on Lake Sevan. Our name is a memory of the childhood and a beautiful legend of love!

At the restaurant Akhtamar you will always be tasty wined and dined. You can take pleasure in healthy Armenian cuisine and pleasantly spend time in a cosy atmosphere with a unique design. The walls of the restaurant are decorated with natural handmade Armenian carpets. These carpets fill all rooms of the restaurant with special energy: the carpets were woven in the 40 – 50s. It was the time when people were full with energy and kindness, and it gives special cosy homy atmosphere to our restaurant.

In the evening there is always fire in our fireplace.

We buy all products from the checked up suppliers. It is impossible to make a tasty and healthy dish of a poor quality product. We select each slice. We use the most qualitative and natural products. Quality and beauty always win.

This restaurant is my third child. I have put my heart in this restaurant. People come to us not as to a restaurant, but as to their home!
