CHRENI is one of the best and most interesting Armenian dried fruit production brands, more precisely – dehydrated fruits and vegetables. Moreover, the entire production process, starting from the choice of gardens, trees and vegetable gardens, continuing the visual and manual selection of specific fruits, is under the close attention of management and quality controllers

The production process

After delivering the fresh fruits to the facility the spe@ts do a visual inspection of the load. They are looking for clean crates, nicely organized crates/boxes in the truck. There are color coded crates for transferring delivered fruits. After washing and sorting they are moved to washed/clean crates which goes directly to preparation room where the operators perform the following processes: peeling, slicing, cutting, coring, pitting and etc. All surfaces in contact with fresh fruits are in stainless steel. Treated fruits are then being positioned on the trays which are stored inside trollies and moved to drying chambers. Trollies loaded with fresh fruits are immediately moved inside the chambers to avoid contact with airborne dust and other contaminations. Depending on the fruit there is specific program with several process cycles that varies from 12 to 20 hours.

CHRENI dehydrated fruits are being produced from manually selected and hand-picked fruits from tree. Before delivery of bulk fruits to production facility the spe@ts go and visit the land from which farmers supply the fruits. The main goal is to provide healthy and delicious snack for daily consumption.

The history and people behind the CHRENI brand

The CHRENI brand was developed and owned by A.D.A. Holding LLC. The idea and establishment of this company was initiated by Mr. Daniel Ghevondian, a talented Armenian industrial engineer from the Armenian Diaspora, who repatriated from Iran to Armenia in 2004, and successfully accomplished his second university education in Yerevan — received master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Systems Management (IESM) from the American University of Armenia (AUA) in 2006.

After a detailed study of the dried fruit industry, a business and engineering plan was developed and the ADA Company was founded with Mr. Daniel Ghevondian together with two other friends, investor partners, in 2017.

It is very important to note that the Company and CHRENI factory are located near Yerevan, in a lively place, in the village of ARZNI, which is one of the main popular resorts in Armenia, an ecologically clean area.
