Nahapet Brandy Company is a dedicated eau de vie craft distillery, founded in Armenia in 2017, known by its KENSATU brand.

Sunlight is an essential ingredient for plant growth. Based on this fact, we came up with a legend in which each fruit has its own god of sun who is stimulating its growth. Gods and goddesses of Sun used their sacred energy to accomplish the creation of fruits and no human was ever participant in that celebration of life. The word “kensatu” in Armenian means “life-giving”, that’s what the celebration symbolized: Gods giving life to their offsprings consuming their abundance and becoming invigorated eventually to be gladfully served to the earthly men as creatures of pleasure.

Over the last three years, KENSATU became a market favorite because of its interesting brand concept, exceptional packaging, and high quality. We don’t have a marketing team or a big advertising budget. What we do have instead is our passion, ideas, and access to excellent and high-quality raw materials. KENSATU brandy, made from cornelian cherries, apricots, wild pears, peaches, plums and mulberries, is produced in limited quantities exclusively from organically grown, overly ripe and not damaged raw materials.
